HELMA Eigenheimbau AG: Subsidiary invests in further holiday property projects

Lehrte, February 5, 2020 - Following the successful realisation of various holiday property projects, HELMA Ferienimmobilien GmbH has secured further attractive land plots on the North Sea and in the Hochsauerland region.

At the end of last year, HELMA Ferienimmobilien GmbH acquired a further land plot on the North Sea coast in a popular holiday region on the North Sea peninsula of Butjadingen. The construction of the "NordseeResort Burhave" is planned on an area of around 33,200 square metres in a prime location directly behind the dyke. Around 190 units will be built in the immediate vicinity of the Aussenweser (outer region of the River Weser), distributed over three residential complexes, as well as various terraced houses with living spaces of around 60 to 100 square metres.

Furthermore, at the start of this week HELMA Ferienimmobilien GmbH acquired an approximately 233,500 square metre site in the middle of the Sauerland-Rothaargebirge nature park at the Sorpesee (Lake Sorpe). The area around the Sorpesee is known as a recreational and tourist region, offering a wide range of leisure activities. With a view over the water, around 350 holiday homes and apartments in the mid-price segment with living space of around 40 to 75 square metres are being built in this holiday home area.

The two projects in Burhave and at the Sorpesee expand the project pipeline of HELMA Ferienimmobilien GmbH by an expected revenue volume totalling around EUR 150 million medium-term.
