Lehrte, July 11, 2018 - HELMA Eigenheimbau AG is pleased to announce that its subsidiary HELMA Wohnungsbau GmbH has now celebrated the sales launch for its "Am Erdbeerhof" building area in Hanover-Laatzen.
Having successfully obtained building approvals, a total of 72 land plots are now available for development with individual detached houses in the first construction stage on a six-hectare area at the gateway of the regional capital. The HELMA Group thereby now also enjoys attractive potential in the Hanover region to expand its property development business with individually plannable detached houses.
Various attractive areas for development with detached houses have already entered the sales process in the Berlin / Brandenburg region over the past twelve months. For example, sales of the "HAVELMARINA" large-scale project in Berlin-Spandau, including, inter alia, around 180 building plots for individually plannable detached houses, have made a very successful start by the middle of last year. With the building areas in Blankenfelde-Mahlow, Dallgow-Döberitz and Nauen (all in Brandenburg) as well as Leipzig-Naunhof, HELMA Wohnungsbau GmbH currently has a further 120 land plots for sale for individual development with a HELMA house.

A further EUR 18.0 million promissory note was issued for HELMA Wohnungsbau GmbH, guaranteed by HELMA Eigenheimbau AG, consisting of two fixed interest tranches with maturities of 5 and 7 years. The promissory note was placed at the lower end of the marketing range among institutional investors. Sparkasse Hannover and UniCredit acted as Joint Arrangers to the transaction.
The HELMA Group placed the promissory notes taking into consideration the development for which it is aiming. The loans comprise an element of the financing strategy reflecting a diversified maturity structure.
