HELMA Eigenheimbau AG: Further attractive project-starts underpin medium-term growth strategy / Max Bode appointed to the Management Board

Lehrte, June 23, 2015 - HELMA Eigenheimbau AG, the specialist for individual solid construction houses and sustainable energy concepts, has achieved further milestones in implementing its medium-term growth strategy, which envisages a doubling of revenue from EUR 170.5 million in 2014 to EUR 340 million in 2017. As planned, the HELMA Wohnungsbau GmbH subsidiary reports several sales starts in its core regions of Berlin, Hannover and Munich, for example. These include the "Wohnen im Park" project in Berlin's Karlshorst district, where around 100 units with total sales revenue EUR 42 million are being realised on a park-type plot of land as part of an ensemble of buildings consisting of five houses. The completion of this project will be split between the 2016 and 2017 financial years. The same is true for the "Wohnen im Eichenpark" project in Hanover-Langenhagen, where seven multi-family houses with a total of 90 apartments are being built directly in the city park, with expected revenue of EUR 26 million. In addition, two further attractive projects with a total of 96 units are ready to start in Kirchseeon and Sauerlach in the greater metropolitan region of Munich. Both of these projects, with total revenue volume of EUR 42 million, are anticipated to be completed mainly in the 2017 financial year.

The HELMA Ferienimmobilien GmbH subsidiary has secured a further optimally situated plot of land for its business purposes. This property is located idyllically in the Müritz National Park, Germany's largest national park, and is consequently optimally suited for the development and realisation of a total of 184 comfortable holiday apartments. Together with their own marina with 150 moorings, these holiday apartments will characterise the "Seepark Waren". This project is expected to generate revenue of EUR 48 million, and will be implemented incrementally over the coming five years.

Expansion of the Management Board:

The Supervisory Board of HELMA Eigenheimbau AG has appointed Mr. Dipl.-Kfm. Max Bode (32) as additional Management Board member for a five-year period with effect as of July 1, 2015. Mr. Bode has already been active as Management Board assistant at HELMA since March 2012, and his future Management Board responsibilities will comprise the sales and marketing areas. This expands the Management Board of HELMA Eigenheimbau AG to three individuals, which will in future consist of CEO Karl-Heinz Maerzke, and Management Board members Gerrit Janssen and Max Bode.
