HELMA Eigenheimbau AG publishes 2010 annual report
Lehrte, April 21, 2011 - With the publication today of its 2010 annual report, HELMA Eigenheimbau AG, specialist for individual solid construction houses and sustainable energy concepts, has confirmed the preliminary figures that it announced on March 10, 2011. Revenue and earnings reached new record levels in 2010. Revenue amounted to around EUR 74.5 million (+19.4%). EBIT rose at a significantly faster rate, from EUR 1.1 million to EUR 2.72 million, due to the economies of scale that were realised in connection with this growth. The EBIT margin on revenue was up from 1.8% to 3.7% as a consequence.

The HELMA Group's order book position also continued to report very positive trends in 2010. New orders of EUR 97.6 million exceeded the previous year's record figure by 12.7%. At EUR 87.7 million as of December 31, 2010 (+25%), the HELMA Group enjoys the highest order book position in its more than 30-year company history. This positive growth trend was successfully continued in the first quarter of 2011 with new orders up by 23% to EUR 29.0 million (Q1 2010: EUR 23.6 million). As a consequence, the HELMA Group commands an excellent overall starting position for significant revenue growth in 2011, and enjoys promising growth-drivers with the further expansion of its project business, and the founding of its subsidiary HELMA Ferienimmobilien GmbH. For this reason, the Management Board of HELMA Eigenheimbau AG is reconfirming its forecast which envisages an increase in Group revenue to approximately EUR 100 million in 2011, and to around EUR 125 million in 2012. Based on the budgeted revenue growth rates, and the highest order book level in the company's history, EBIT of EUR 5.0-5.5 million is anticipated in the current 2011 financial year, and EBIT of EUR 7.5-8.0 million in the 2012 financial year. This would imply that the EBIT margin on revenue would rise initially to more than 5%, and subsequently to the HELMA Group's targeted level of more than 6%.
